Searching for the curious, the intelligent, the dogged, and the adventurous!

Who are we? We are the Saskatoon Irregulars! We, like many of you, have been following the illustrious career of one Mr. Sherlock Holmes, and are seeking to become the Saskatoon branch of the Baker Street Irregulars, the apprentices of Sherlock Holmes!
We are seeking those of a particular ilk to join our select group of investigators, and if you think you have what it takes, we invite you to show us what you can do. With luck we will even attract the attention of Mr. Holmes himself!
Our latest case is: The Case of the Missing P.I.
Things are getting weird in Saskatoon – There is a serial kidnapper on the loose (dubbed the “Mad Trapper” by the media),  the police have no leads, and now,
the private detective that’s been tracking this Mad Trapper has gone missing. This private detective isn’t just anyone, however. Duncan Meyers, P.I., is a former detective for the City of Saskatoon Police Department, but where is he, and who took him?
What we know:
? Duncan Meyers, P.I., has vanished, and no one has seen him for days, however, the police have yet to formerly declare Mr. Meyers, formerly one of their own, a missing person. Is it because they are trying to keep the media quiet? Is Meyers REALLY missing?
? Phone records show that Duncan Meyers has been receiving a lot of calls and text messages from his ex-wife, who police are now trying to contact as a person of interest, but there has been no sign of her either.
? Meyers received letters believed to be from the Mad Trapper himself. Why contact Duncan Meyers at all? Did the private investigator get too close to finding him?
Sherlock Holmes has been following the case avidly and has been invited to do his own investigating. Now he has invited Saskatoon’s best to test their mettle and see if they can solve the mystery of the missing P.I.

Can you crack this puzzling case?
The key is before you, but the door to the truth is Sherlocked
